1. Introduction and Scope

This Refund and Service Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through Beacon HR Consulting (referred to herein as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing any Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) HR service, digital product, or consulting session via our website or invoice, you (the “Client”) agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. As a provider of professional, time-based, and bespoke human resources expertise, our services are categorized as "Instantaneous Professional Services."

2. General No-Refund Policy

Beacon HR Consulting operates on a Strict No-Refund Policy. All sales are final. Because our value is derived from professional expertise, labor-intensive document drafting, and immediate access to HR intellectual property, we do not offer refunds for "change of mind," dissatisfaction with a legal outcome, or a change in your business circumstances.

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a professional service that is consumed at the point of delivery. Whether you have purchased a single hour of advice or a bespoke document pack, the fee paid represents the reservation of our consultant's time and the deployment of our proprietary expertise.

 

3. Immediate Commencement of Services

Under the 2026 Consumer and Business Contract Regulations, services that begin immediately upon the consumer’s express consent are generally exempt from standard 14-day cooling-off periods. By clicking "Purchase," "Book Now," or "Submit Payment," you provide your express request for Beacon HR Consulting to begin work immediately. You acknowledge that this immediate commencement waives any statutory right to a cooling-off period or a refund once the transaction is processed.

4. Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) Consultations and "Rescue Sessions"

For all scheduled video, phone, or in-person consultations:

  • Non-Refundability: Consultation fees are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling: We understand that small business owners face unpredictable schedules. You may request to reschedule a session once, provided you give at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations & No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to attend the scheduled session (No-Show), the full fee is forfeited. This is because the time slot was reserved exclusively for your business, preventing us from serving other clients.

5. Digital Products and HR Health Check Reports

All digital assets, including but not limited to:

  • Standardized Employment Contracts

  • Employee Handbooks

  • HR Health Check Comprehensive Reports

  • Policy Templates Are deemed "opened" and "used" the moment they are downloaded or delivered to your email address. Due to the ease of duplication of digital goods, these items are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

 

 

6. B2B Clause

Beacon HR Consulting is a Business-to-Business (B2B) service provider. We do not provide services to individual consumers for personal use. Therefore, the protections afforded by consumer-specific "cooling-off" legislation do not apply to these commercial transactions.

 

 

7. Quality Assurance and Disputes

While we do not offer refunds, we are committed to the highest standards of HR excellence. If you believe there is a clerical error in a document provided or if the advice given did not address the specific brief provided, you must notify us in writing within 7 business days. We will make every reasonable effort to rectify the error or clarify the guidance at no additional cost.

 

 

8. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable 2026 laws. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Beacon HR Consulting is registered.
